This 5 story castle is the showplace of East Texas, with over 20,000 square feet under roof and 14,000 sq. ft. of priceless construction. Secluded on 107 acres, you enter the estate over a historical bridge, past waterfalls and extensive gardens, to the most unique property in Texas. Lovingly built and designed by one of the country's foremost antique dealers for her own personal castle, and constructed of "used red tumbled brick" made by Coronado Stone. The roof is "Majestic Slate" to give the original old slate look.

This massive showplace has no sheet rock used in its construction. The entire estate has extremely ornate tin ceilings and was awarded the title of "Best ceilings in America". The exquisite windows and doors are leaded and beveled glass and there are many antique stained glass windows including 16 wonderful old church windows as well as a signed "Cantina" window from the Disney Hotel in California. The flooring is all hardwood or slate. The original tile designs in the baths are extraordinary. The 3 story open staircase is constructed of ironwork and climbing roses with wonderful wood accents circling up a 90 foot turret, designed and constructed on site by the artist.

The castle was designed for grand scale entertaining and Texas size parties with huge rooms and a wonderful flow for entertaining. There are also extensive terraces gardens and balconies for outdoor entertaining. The party kitchen, den and bar area have 3 dishwashers, 3 trash compactors, 3 ice makers, 3 ovens and a ten burner stove along with a large circular "sit around" fire pit as well as a raised fireplace for open flame cooking.
